Career Week Programme

Meet myself and friends...Future doctor veterinar to be hehe~..Im the darkest :(

Hellooooo Everyone!!!  This is my very first time blogging, so i don't have much experience in writing hehe.Today i want to share the experience i had in my career week.

At first ,I thought this programme was just another talk about motivation or something similar to the orientation day.So i feel like "Oh no, What!!? I DONT WANT TO GO".But after I go through the 1st day of this week, now i know the aim of this programme  .Its about career path that vet student will be taking. All of the speakers tell their experience about their student life and job acquiration.I also didn't know that there is so many branches in vet career.Since I was a child, I only thought that vet only give injection to animal just like how doctor would do to human.

The first talk is about poultry,Yeahh!! chicken. All the things i had in mind is KFC haha ( I was hungry during that talk). The speaker,Dr Bahsharudin Mohd Sharif talk about his job experience. He showed us the video, there is so many little cute chick getting vaccinated.
Waa...this little kitten imagine itself as a tiger rawrrr

The 2nd day of the talk is my most hoping day, since I love cat.Yepp , the topic on that day is about small animal and wildlife. The way the speaker,Dr Melissa Phoon told us about small animal were interesting that can get my attention to hear it.She opened her own clinic in Kajang and said that she loved the job that she has now.Even though she is the doctor for the animal BUT the pet owner's feeling is also the thing that she must take into consideration. If the owner didn't like her, then he/she doesn't feel like let go his/her pet in the care of doctor.
Dr Melissa told her story as veterinarian...she also give us chewing gum yum yumm 😜

The talk about wildlife was presented by Dr Eve Foong Yee Wei, ex-student in UPM.She work in wildlife sector of Sunway Lagoon (wowww).Based on her experienced that she had part-time job there before, it helps a lot to know the behaviour of the animals. The thing that i remember from her speech is "AGAK-AGAK",its mean is guessing. It just her experience to give moderate quantity food or how many dose of medicine to the animals.

My favourite speakers is Prof. Dato' Dr Mohamed Shariff Mohamed Din (AKA Dr Ikan). His topic is about fish.It is not about fish that I like about him but his way of giving speech. His speech was all about motivation. The presentation slide also make me motivated to be in vet path. I still have my hope for medic course but my application got rejected on the same day. Then I was motivated by him to go on with new path and leave the things that is all in the past.

In the end,it is one of my dreams now to have my own small animal clinic.I also have interest in wildlife animal because of National Geography tv show.Still, cat is my favourite animal meow~~

I think that is all what i want to talk about.I hope that i can be like Dr with own private clinic to have.
Thank you
